Origin of the Mahara Name

Mahara Consulting | Sustainable Impact Advice is inspired by the word Mahara, referencing to both the Bourgainvillae Mahara flower as well as the Arabic word for 'skill'.

The Mahara flower grows and thrives sustainably in almost every continent in the world, barely needing any water or additional nutrients once the roots have been carefully set. This is what we envision with our work for our clients worldwide.

M.C. was established in 2021 and has executed most of its advisory activities in the Netherlands and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The experience we hold, is diverse: from leading (big) fundraising proposals for several NGOs and SMEs, to drawing full M&E-frameworks for international development projects of the Dutch government, and building the foundations of young Jordanian startups.
